Mobile Electronics magazine sells to MERA

After a 23 year run with Bobit Business Media and in it´s 27th year of operation, the aftermarket 12 volt installation and business trade magazine now known as Mobile Electronics magazine has been sold to InstallerNet to be run under the MERA umbrella.

Many industry colleagues know that Todd Ramsey of Ramsey Consulting Group, Inc. was serving as the magazine´s Editorial Director for all of 2010. Ramsey has not moved on to the new ownership with the magazine at this time, but talks will continue to explore the possibility of a role in a technical capacity under the new management.

RCGI Donates Chevy Tahoe to Local High School´s Automotive Program

Just as the 2009-2010 school year ended for McClintock High School in Tempe, AZ, Ramsey Consulting Group, Inc. made a generous donation of our older 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe to the Automotive Program at the school. The idea is that the vehicle can serve as a hands on teaching tool for students in the automotive and other industrial arts programs related to the business of car audio installation

Industrial Technology Department Chair, John Hankinson commented "This will be a great opportunity for our students in the coming year to learn various segments of auto maintenance and repair, as well as automotive electrical and even some installation skills of aftermarket electronics."
