Mobile Solutions –
Smart Parts Catalogs

Summary Info:

Since 2004 Mobile Solutions has contracted RCGI to develop and publish their Smart Parts Catalog of innovative fabrication tools and installation related products. Cover designs are done by Rafael Douglas (past) and Ed Charland (current) to maintain the look and feel of the Mobile Solutions website identity and the remainder of production is done by the RCGI creative team.

The original Mobile Solutions 2005 Smart Parts catalog was just 16 pages and sized in a 5.5"x8.5" format. This initial catalog really helped drive the tremendous growth of the Mobile Solutions fabrication parts and accessories business. In 2006 the catalog grew to 40 pages in an 8.5"x11" (full page size) format. The 2007 catalog remained at 40 pages but had multiple changes to reflect the continuing innovation of specialty products and informative “how to” sections offered by Mobile Solutions. Ramsey Consulting also did the 2008 catalog supplement and advised/edited on the 2009 version and did the 2011 new products CES. We are currently in production for the all new 2011 version.

All the catalogs are created in Adobe InDesign as four color CMYK documents with 0.125 Bleed and prepared for saddle stapled finishing. Then the catalog is digitally delivered to our business to business printer partner for final printing and production.
