Ramsey Consulting Group has a long standing product development relationship with Emotiva, a manufacturer of high end home entertainment products. We developed all of their product manuals and quick start guides for their electronics in the first several generations of product.

Each manual has detailed 2-D and 3-D graphics as well as in-depth descriptions of the connection, setup, and troubleshooting of the component. Since Emotiva’s electronic products include complex home theater preamplifier-processors, modular chassis design power amplifiers, and audiophile grade two channel products, a thorough understanding of the target experience from unpacking the box to enjoying the products in the home was necessary to ensure total customer satisfaction. These Emotiva products feature complex technologies such as HDMI switching, Dolby Digital EX and Pro Logic IIx, DTS-ES, managing upconversion of video signals, second zone audio distribution and control, as well as others. 

In 2008 RCGI worked with Emotiva to develop manuals for their first speaker line (ERT/ERM series) designed with Vance Dickason. The speakers included front LCR monitors and surrounds. The successful product line has since expanded.

RCGI continues to welcome the challenges of documenting the fantastic engineering of Emotiva home entertainment products for their distinguished consumers.
